YUTSIS VSEVOLOD

Vsevolod Yutsis obtained a PhD in marine geology and geophysics from the Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU). From the 1979 until 2000, he was employed as lecturer, associate professor, and finally full Professor at the Geological Faculty of the MSU. In 2000, V.Yutsis was invited in Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, Mexico. From 2013 he works in Instituto Potosino de Investigación Científica y Tecnológica, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Yutsis’s research interests are marine geology and geophysics, joint interpretation of geophysical data, applied geophysics, tectonics, and geodynamics. Yutsis taught courses on marine geophysics, geodynamics, physics of the Earth, ets. He is the author of more than one hundred and twenty scientific articles, supervisor of doctoral and master's students, member of SEG, EGU, UGM etc.
