Geological engineer trained at UNAM with graduate studies (MSc and PhD) in Earth Sciences. My research focuses on the characterization of volcanic and geothermal systems, integrating petrology, isotope geochemistry, experimental petrology, and applied geosciences. I specialize in the study of magmatic processes, including magma differentiation, magma-water interaction, and the structural controls on magma ascent, particularly in monogenetic fields, maar-diatreme volcanoes, and calderas. My current work involves the experimental and analytical characterization of the chemical, mineralogical, mechanical, and thermal properties of volcanic rocks. I am also founder of Mineral & GeoData Analytics, a company dedicated to geological exploration and applied geoscientific analysis.
