Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Tijuana Institute of Technology and is a full-time professor in the Department of Systems and Computing and in the Division of Graduate Studies and Research at the Technological Institute of Ciudad Madero (TecNM), Mexico. His research interests include artificial intelligence, natural language processing, machine learning and deep learning, and intelligent optimization, with recent work focused on measurement and fairness in multilingual language technologies. He currently heads the National Laboratory of Information Technologies (LaNTI), where he oversees the networking, high-performance computing, virtualization, and simulation infrastructure supporting research projects nationwide.
