Eliana Valencia-L is currently a research professor at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), School of Higher Studies (ENES), León campus. She teaches courses in the areas of cell functions and crop propagation, within the fields of health sciences and agro-genomics.
She was previously a visiting professor at the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute (CINVESTAV). Her research focuses on plant development, ranging from somatic embryogenesis to protein–protein interactions, within the framework of systems biology.
