VALDIVIA FLORES, ARTURO GERARDO

Dr Arturo Gerardo Valdivia-Flores (1955, October 1, Aguascalientes, Mexico).
Veterinarian, Master in Agricultural Sciences, specialties in Teaching, Higher Education and Statistical Methods, as well as PhD in Livestock Sciences.
Full-time professor and researcher at the Centro de Ciencias Agropecuarias since 1981. He has also participated in the design, implementation and consolidation of various undergraduate and graduate programs implemented at the Centro de Ciencias Agropecuarias and other university centers. He has taught several subjects in different educational programs of the University; he has published several scientific articles, books and book chapters and has directed master's and doctoral theses in programs accredited by CONACyT.
Dr. Valdivia-Flores has received multiple awards, among them: The "Simón Bolívar" Award from the Latin American Association of Students of Veterinary Medicine, the University Award for Merit in Research in Natural Sciences, the "Centauro Quirón" award for merit from the State College of Veterinarians of Aguascalientes, recognition from the National System of Researchers and the Program for Professional Teaching Development of the SEP, the National Certification of Professional Practice by the CONCERVET, as well as various awards for his academic performance.
