I specialize in the integration of matter and energy within bioprocesses through the use of modeling and simulation tools to evaluate the technical part and the economic and environmental viability of these processes. On the other hand, my research covers the treatment of the organic fraction municipal of solid waste (OFMSW), through anaerobic digestion. For now, I am looking to evaluate bioinputs, such as organic compounds and beneficial microorganisms, which play a fundamental role in promoting plant growth and help in pest control. I am Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Energy and Environmental Science and reviewer of some journals.
