I have a PhD in Biochemical Sciences, in the field of Molecular Biology of Plants. I'm interested in the factors that are required for disordered proteins to perform their functions.

I really like informatics and it's usage to analyze biological data. I am trained to apply diverse programming languages like R, Python and Perl, as well as to use and create programs in Bash. I am also certified by The Carpentries association to teach informatical skills.

I currently work as a Bioinformatician at the Centro Nacional en Parasitología Animal y Tecnología Analítica (CENAPA) del Servicio Nacional de Sanidad, Inocuidad y Calidad Agroalimentaria (SENASICA), establishing workflows for the diagnostic, Next-Generation sequencing, typification and evolution of avian alphainfluenzavirus.
