I am a biologist with a master's degree in Biotic Interactions and a Ph.D. in Conservation and Management of Natural Resources.I am a specialist in fish and collaborates on projects related to the conservation and sustainable use of fish. I participated in various outreach projects conducting technical-economic feasibility studies for aquaculture production, carrying capacity, and water use. I has contributed to human resource development through teaching, serving on thesis committees, supervising theses, and delivering various professional courses. I has acted as an evaluator in thesis competitions and as a reviewer for indexed journals. I am position of the curator of the Fish Collection at the Centro de México “Edmundo Díaz Pardo.” My research focuses on genetics, conservation, and sustainable use of aquatic fauna. I have the distintion to the National System of Researchers (Mexican Sistema Nacional de Investigadores, SNI) at level 1.
