Dr. Azucena Salazar Piña since 2016, is a Research Professor at the Faculty of Nutrition of the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos, in México; professor in the Bachelor of Nutrition, member of the basic academic core of the Master of Science in Nutrition. Dr. Salazar has 10 published articles, 2 book chapters; has directed the thesis to 5 master's students. She is a member of the National System of Researchers; her lines of research include immunology in chronic diseases, validation of biomarkers as a diagnostic system, nutrition immunology and diet/nutrition in chronic non-communicable diseases.
