SANCHEZ THOMAS, ROSINA

I am a Mexican biomedical scientist with a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), trained in biochemistry and cellular metabolism. My current research interest focuses on how biochemical and metabolic processes shape functional states of the brain. I am particularly interested in the molecular mechanisms linking metabolism, neuroplasticity, and emotional regulation, and how these processes may contribute to neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases. I am actively seeking postdoctoral opportunities to investigate how molecular and metabolic mechanisms influence function, underlying emotional brain states and neural plasticity.
