Médica epidemióloga, especialista en la prevención de cánceres relacionados con el VPH en personas viviendo con VIH y otras poblaciones vulnerables en Latinoamérica. Mi trabajo integra la epidemiología del cáncer, la ciencia de la implementación y la realización de ensayos clínicos multicéntricos financiados por los NIH, con un fuerte enfoque en la aplicación de la evidencia científica a políticas de salud pública, programas de tamizaje y estrategias de vacunación equitativas.
Physician-epidemiologist specializing in the prevention of HPV-related cancers among people living with HIV and other vulnerable populations in Latin America. My work integrates cancer epidemiology, implementation science, and the conduct of NIH-funded multicenter clinical trials, with a strong focus on translating scientific evidence into public health policies, screening programs, and equitable vaccination strategies.
