Research topics: a) Physical activity and sedentary behavior: its effect on risk factors and/or non-communicable diseases; b) Energy metabolism at rest and exercise, its response to physical activity, sedentary behavior, body composition and diet; c) Morphological-anthropometric profile, its interaction with growth and maturation.
Member of the National System of Researchers, CONAHCYT México SNI Level 1.
Member of International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry (ISAK) since 1995.
International Criterion Anthropometrist ISAK Level 4 since 2009.
Founding Member of International Advisory Council at Faculty of Sports Organization, Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, Mexico (2017).
