SIQUEIROS GARCIA, JESUS MARIO

I have a BSc and a MSc degree in Anthropolgy by the National School of Anthropology and History (ENAH) and by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) respectively. I have a Masters of Advance Studies (DEA) and a PhD in Philosophy, Science, Technology and Society, with a special focus on Philosophy of Biology at the IAS-Research| Center for Life, Mind and Society, in the University of the Basque Country, Spain.

From 2009 to 2010, I was the Director of Academic Development for the National Bioethcis Commission of Mexico. From 2011 to 2013 I worked for the National Institute for Genomic Medicine of Mexico (INMEGEN), at the department of Ethical, Legal and Social implications of Genomic Medicine. Currently I work for the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), at the Social Network Analysis Laboratory, which is part of the Applied Mathematics and Systems Research Institute.

My current interests are complex systems, collective behavior and autonomy, and science and society, from the origin of multicellularity to scientific collaborative netwoks. I am also very interested in Open Science, which I relate to my work on scientific collaborative networks.
