MALDONADO SIFUENTES, CHRISTIAN EFRAIN

Christian E. Maldonado‑Sifuentes is a researcher in the National System of Researchers (SNIi), a university professor, and a visiting professor at the Natural Language Laboratory of CIC‑IPN. He has contributed to national science policy through the “Investigadores por México” program under the newly established Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology, and Innovation (SECIHTI), which officially began operations on January 1, 2025—replacing the former Conahcyt following the decree published in the Official Gazette on November 28, 2024 secihti.mx +15 secihti.mx +15 yucatan.com.mx +15 . He also worked on digital transformation initiatives involving compilers and virtual machines at INFOTEC. His doctoral research at CIC‑IPN focused on using deep learning techniques to predict social media influence. He has taught Artificial Intelligence and Mathematics at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, he served as a Business Intelligence Consultant for the Mexican government and as Web Portal Director at Excélsior newspaper. He is passionate about improving lives through AI and has published numerous peer-reviewed papers in Applied Artificial Intelligence and Social Media.
