Rodolfo Amalio Vargas Méndez was born in Morelos, México, in 1985. He received the degree in electronics engineering from the Technological Institute of Cuautla, Cuautla, Morelos, México, in 2008, the M. Sc. And Ph. D degree in electronics engineering in the area of power electronics from the National Center for Research and Technological Development (cenidet), Cuernavaca, Morelos, México, in 2011 and 2015, respectively.
He is a consultant for several power electronics projects. His main research interests are in multilevel inverters symmetric and asymmetric topologies, carrier-based PWM methods, space-vector modulation and fault-tolerant systems.
