Rafael Vargas-Bernal was born in Irapuato, Guanajuato, México in September 30th, 1972. He received the Bachelor degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering in October 6th, 1995 from the University of Guanajuato. After, he obtained the Master Science degree in Electronics from the National Institute of Astrophysics Optics and Electronics (INAOE) in September 4th, 1997. Lastly, he obtained the Philosophy Doctor Degree in Electronics from the same institute in July 19th, 2000. From January 2010 to date and of the Journal "Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical" (ISSN 0925-4005) of Elsevier with impact factor: 8.4, Q1. From October 2012 is reviewer of technical papers of the IEEE Sensors Journal published by IEEE with impact factor: 4.3, Q1.
