Juan C. Tudon-Martinez obtained the PhD degree in sciences with speciality in Mechatronics in 2014 from Tecnológico de Monterrey, with a one-year research stay in GIPSA-lab at the INP Grenoble. From 2015 to 2021, he was associate professor at the School of Engineering and Technologies in Universidad de Monterrey. Currently, he is professor-researcher at Tec de Monterrey. Prof. Tudon-Martinez is a member of the National System of Researches in Mexico, level 2. During the last 5 years, he has supervised several consulting projects in Mexico, related to the modeling, automation and process control (Michelin, Semex, Bendix, Nutec-Bickley, Metalsa, etc.). Prof. Tudon-Martinez has published more than 95 research papers indexed in Scopus and/or JCR databases and he has been director or co-director of 7 postgraduate thesis. His research is mainly focused on modeling, automation and process control, vehicle dynamics, vehicle control, and fault diagnosis and fault tolerant control in vehicles.
