David Ernesto Troncoso Romero received the PhD degree from the Institute INAOE, Puebla, Mexico, in 2013 (he previously received the Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Minatitlán, and the MSc degree from the institute INAOE, in 2006 and 2008, respectively). From Jan. 2011 to Jan. 2012 he was a visiting researcher at the ECE department of FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, Florida State University, in Tallahassee, Florida, USA. His current research interests are on digital signal processing algorithms for applications in digital communications.
