Ansel Y. Rodríguez González received the B.S. degree in Computer Sciences from Havana University, Cuba, in 2004, his M.Sc. degree in Mathematics Sciences from Havana University, Cuba, in 2007, and his Ph.D. degree in the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (INAOE), Mexico in 2011. In parallel to his PhD studies, he worked as Assistant Researcher at the Data Mining Department of the Advanced Technologies Applications Center (CENATAV) Cuba. After his PhD, he collaborated as Scientific Adviser with the Computer Vision Laboratory at INAOE and with the Centre for Space Science and Technology Education for Latin America and the Caribbean (CRECTEALC). Dr. Ansel has participated on more than 10 projects among fundamental and applied research projects. He was Postdoctoral Researcher at INAOE and his work focuses on pattern recognition, machine learning and data mining. Since 2018, he has been a Researcher at CONACYT, now called SECIHTI (Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology and Innovation), at the Tepic Academic Unit of the Ensenada Center for Scientific Research and Higher Education, Baja California.
