PARRA VEGA, VICENTE

Graduate in 1995 from Tokyo Univ. (under supervision of Prof. Surugu Arimoto, and with support of the Monbusho Foundation of Japan), then a posdoc in the Robotics and Mechatronics Dept. at DLR-Germany in 2000 (under the supervision of Prof.-Dr. Gerd Hirzinger, and with support of the Alexander von Humbodlt Foundation of Germany) and spent a sabbatical leave at the Lab. of Autonomous Robotics System of Univ. of Texas, USA, in 2010, (under the supervision of Prof. Mark Spong, with support of Research Council of Mexico) as well another sabbatical in the Advanced Technology Center (Ciateq), Mexico, in 2004. He is at the Robotics and Advanced Manufacturing Department, which he established en 2006, of the Research Center for Advanced Studies (Cinvestav) in Mexico, wherein he has been associated since 1990. He teaches Industrial Robotics and Mechatronics Design courses in ITESM-Monterrey Campus, since 2013.
