MUÑOZ PACHECO, JESUS MANUEL

Jesus Manuel MUNOZ-PACHECO obtained his PhD in Electronic Sciences from INAOE in 2009. He is currently a Full Professor-Researcher at BUAP. In 2018, he founded the PhD program in Applied Research in Electronics, where he is currently the academic coordinator. He also established the research group "Chaos, Fractals, and Complexity" at the same university. Dr. Muñoz-Pacheco has received several recognitions for his research work, including being included in the list of the Top 2% of leading scientists globally (Single-year and Career performance) in his area of knowledge, as awarded by Stanford University and Elsevier from 2020 to 2025. He was a former Principal Fellow at the Kaabar-Wang Tech Institute in Uzbekistan, as well as serving as an External Advisor for the Research Center on Numerical Programming and Automatic Control, affiliated with the National Autonomous University of Honduras. He is also a founding member of the Mexican Society of Dynamical Systems and Complexity (NGO). He has been part of the National System of Researchers (SNI) of CONAHCYT/Mexico for over 13 consecutive years. Dr. Muñoz Pacheco has authored approximately 137 publications in scientific journals, books, conferences, and patents, which have garnered around 2246 citations - April 25 (excluding self-citations), thereby contributing to the advancement of science and technology in the areas of dynamical systems, chaos, and circuits. He is currently the Associate Editor of the International Journal of Numerical Modeling - Electronic Networks, Devices, and Fields; Frontiers in Physics; Chaos Theory and Applications; Frontiers in Applied Mathematics and Statistics; Complexity; and Discrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, among others.
