Martin Moreno received the B.Eng. degree in Mechatronics Engineering in 2015 from Technological Institute of Querétaro (ITQ: Instituto Tecnológico de Querétaro, Tecnológico Nacional de México), Querétaro Campus, Mexico. In 2017 he received the Master (Hons) degree in Advanced Technology from the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN: Instituto Politécnico Naiconal), Mexico City. He continued his doctoral studies in Advanced Technology at the IPN.
From 2018 to 2021, he was a doctoral exchange student at the Laboratory of Power and Energy Conversion of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago, Chile. He is a full-time professor at the Technological University (Universidad Tecnológica) in San Juan del Rio, Mexico. His research interests include energy harvesting, resonant converter topologies, and high-frequency power converters.
