Obtained the PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (México) in 2008. He holds a permanent position at the Instituto Tecnológico de Morelia since 1995. His research interests are in power electronics, parallel processing, protections, real time simulation and renewable energies.
