Mexican researcher focused on characterization of lignocellulosic materials for energy applications, including solid biofuels, fuelwood quality assessment and thermochemical valorization of biomass residues for the synthesis of carbon materials with tailored physicochemical and optical properties for solar thermal applications, including solar absorber coatings. I have participated in interdisciplinary impact-oriented proyects on energy democratization in rural communities in tropical regions of Mexico.
