Jorge Álvarez was born in Los Mochis, Mexico in 1993. He obtained his B.Sc. degree in Mechatronics Engineering, M.Sc. degree in Control Systems, and Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences at the Sonora Institute of Technology in 2016, 2018, and 2023 respectively. His current research interests include controller design of non-linear systems through Takagi-Sugeno models and linear matrix inequalities.
