My research focuses on the development of advanced materials and sustainable processes for the energy transition. I specialize in the synthesis and characterization of heterogeneous catalysts and bioenergetic nanoparticles derived from renewable and agro-industrial waste, applied to biodiesel and bioethanol production. Additionally, my work includes the development of activated carbon-based materials and hydrogen production via photocatalysis, with a comprehensive emphasis on biomass valorization and circular economy principles.
