I received my PhD in Philosophy of Science from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in winter 2020. My research focuses mainly on the intersection of Philosophy of Mind and Cognitive Psychology. I am particularly interested in foundational problems associated with concepts as mental representations, and the empirical evidence that cognitive psychology can provide to them. Other of my interests include research on the gender gap in Philosophy and make efforts from SWIP-Analytic Mexico to provide some solutions to close the gap.

Before coming to Mexico for graduate studies, I received a BA in Philosophy from The University of Antioquia, where I worked on Modern Philosophy, particularly on free will from a Kantian point of view.
