I am an Associate Professor in the Coordination of Cognitive and Behavioral Sciences within the Faculty of Psychology at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). I received my PhD in Philosophy of Cognitive Science from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in winter 2020. My research lies at the intersection of Philosophy of Mind and Cognitive Psychology, with a central focus on the nature of concepts, the evidence for their acquisition, and change.
My work incorporates the gender perspective as a cross-cutting theme, which is reflected both in my research and my professional practice. I am currently an active member of the Mexican Network of Women Philosophers (ReMMuF), where we promote the presence and visibility of women in philosophy from different perspectives.
