Manuel Santos-Trigo is a full professor at the Centre for Research and Advanced Studies, mathematics Education department. He teaches graduates courses and his research area focuses on mathematical problem solving and the use of digital technologies, including generative artificial intelligence tools, in the construction and development of mathematical thinking in high school teachers and students. He is also interested in analyzing the students' ways to transit from high school to university in developing mathematical reasoning.
