I was born in the "Huasteca Potosina" region, a zone in the northeast of Mexico.
I moved to the state of Guanajuato where I studied a BA in History at the University of Guanajuato. I then took classes of philosophy in the BA in Philosophy at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), in Mexico City. I received a MA in Philosophy of Culture from the UNAM, graduating with the thesis "Power and Love". Later I got a PhD in Humanities, specialized in Moral and Political Philosophy, at the Autonomous Metropolitan University.
I am author of the academic book "La metafísica de los liberales" (The Metaphysics of the Liberals) published by the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes (2020) and where is analyzed the Mexican intellectual thought of three authors from the 19th century. In 2016 it was published in Spain my anthology-novel "El libro rojo de los vampiros" ("The Red Book of the Vampires"), a narration developed in different epochs of New Spain, from the 16th century to the 19th.
I have published my research, articles and recensions, in academic journals from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Slovakia, Spain, USA, Norway and Venezuela. I belong to the following academic organizations: Mexican Association of Philosophy (AFM); the Latin American and Caribbean Historians Association (ADHILAC); the Mexican Association of Classical Studies (AMEC); Concerned Philosophers for Peace (CPP) (USA based association).
I received an Honorific Mention in the awards for best articles on Historiography and Theory of History. Prize given by the Mexican Committee of Historical Sciences (2018). I have also been awarded with the Merit Medal by the Autonomous Metropolitan University for my doctoral studies on ancient philosophy (2020). I received the "Civilian Merit Award", granted by the City Hall of Ciudad Valles (San Luis Potosí, México) for “distinguished career” and contributions in social sciences and philosophy (2023).
I have been honored with the "Bill Gay Award for Early Career Scholar" in the last Conference organized by the American professional asociation Concerned Philosopher for Peace (2023). This award was granted to my paper presentation "Stoic Non-violence in the (Virtuous) Ukrainian Civil Resistance to Russia" and for my career dedicated to the study of war and peace.
