Amauri Serrano-Lázaro received his BSc degree in Energy Engineering (2014) from Chiapas Polytechnic University and his master's (MSc,2017) and Ph.D. (2021) degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Recently, he joined the Institute of Physics (IF-UNAM) as a research technician, where he will support low-dimensional semiconductors and silicon technology laboratories. His research focuses on developing nanostructured metal oxide films for bio/chemical sensing and functional semiconducting materials for advanced photocatalytic degradation of pollutants, as well as photoactivated films for smart covers. He has authored 16 articles in this field of research.
