OLIVARES QUIROZ, LUIS AGUSTIN

Full time physics Professor at Universidad Autónoma de la Ciudad de Mexico (UACM), Member of the Complex Systems Society (CSS), the American Physical Society (APS) Biological Physics Division and former President of the Statistical Physics and Thermodynamics Division of the Mexican Physical Society (SMF) from 2019 to 2024. Member of the National Council of Researchers (SNII) Nivel II. I obtained my PhD in Statistical Physics with applications to protein folding and molecular biology. Currently, my research interests lie , on one side, on the applications of graph and network theory to identification of active sites in biological macromolecules and enzymes as potential therapeutic targets. On the other hand, I have a keen interest Markovian and non-Markovian diffusion process in lattices and networks to explore transport systems, traffic and anomalous diffusion in soft condensed matter.
