I am a physical geographer with 30 years of professional experience, 22 of them as a researcher at the National Autonomous University of México. I do research about spatial planning, natural resources management, and natural hazard evaluation, My research is based on geomorphologic, hydrologic, and landscape ecology knowledge, as well as, intensive use of remote sensing products, spatial and statistical analysis.
I have been interested, since 2000, in land cover land use change analysis; mopre recently, I have been done research on dendrochronological analysis applied to Physical Geography, specifically on Geomorphological and Hydrological hazards.
