Francisco Javier Gonzalez is a Scientist at Truventic where he works on the design and characterization of LWIR detectors for SBIR funded projects, he also holds a Courtesy Appointment as Full Professor at the Physics Department of the University of Central Florida. His areas of expertise are infrared technology,nanophotonics, biophotonics, non-invasive medical diagnosis and Terahertz technologyareas in which he has contributed with more than 150 journal publications, which have been cited over 3000 times (h-index: 29). Dr. González has also published 3 Book Chapters, presented 80 papers at conferences and has 7 patents granted or pending in the US, Mexico and Spain. Dr. González is Senior Member of IEEE, OSA and SPIE and Member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences.
