Dr. Daniel G. Araiza works as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Physics of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (IF-UNAM) and belongs to the National System of Researchers (SNI-1). His research has focused on the design and development of novel nanostructured materials using frontier physical and chemical methods. Led efforts to control the size/composition of metallic/plasmonic nanoparticles and modify the morphology of semiconductor oxides/carbon phases. These materials are applied in energy, environmental, and biomedical fields. Strong expertise in various characterization techniques, specializing in in-situ spectroscopies for optimizing nanomaterial function and efficiency
