I obtained my Ph.D. degree from the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosi (UASLP), Mexico.
Since 2011, I have been working in X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). During this time, my research work has been focused on the contribution to the development of novel methods for quantitative analysis by XPS and the use of these methods in applications such as biomedicine, semiconductors, catalysis, and carbon nanostructures. In 2018 I joined the University of Guadalajara-Mexico as an Associate professor, where I continue my research in XPS, supervise the research work of my associate students, and impart lectures on the electronic structure of materials, properties of materials and experimental physics.
