Rosalba Alonso-Rodríguez is a Fisheries Biologyst. She has a MSc in Marine Siences, She has been Researcher at the Instituto de Ciencias del Mar y Limnología de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México for 20 years, studing hydrology, water quality, harmful algal blooms, microalgae and their toxins in marine, brackish and freswaters. She has published 40 peer reviewed papers registrated in Scopus (H=18), 7 books, 8 books chapters and more than 150 technical reports in phytoplankton problems in the shrimp aquaculture activity. She has been supervisor of 22 theses for Ba, MSc, and PH.D. degrees.
