He has worked as a researcher on Constitutional Law, Public Policies for Justice, and comparative Penal Justice models. He taught the Judicial and Political Education Course for United Nations (UN) Translators, through the University of Salamanca, Spain. He was the General-Manager of the Technical Ministry of the Coordination Board for the Implementation of the Penal Justice System of the Ministry of the Interior. He was the director of the Security and Constitutional State of Law Delegation at the Tecnológico de Monterrey School of Government and Public Transformation. He is currently a faculty member of the PhD in Public Policy and of the master in Public Administration and Public Policy
