PhD Jacobo Silva Parada currently works as professor at the Centre of Studies on International Relations, in the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and as a member of the academic workgroup at the University Program of Studies on Asia and Africa (PUEAA) from the same university. He also does research in Economic Security, Political Economy, Foreign Trade Policy, International Relations, and Financial System, particularly focused on India and Mexico.
Besides, he's member of the Olof Palme Center for Analysis and Research on Peace, Security and Development Non-Profit Organization in Mexico's Board of Directors; the Rosario Study Group on India and Southeast Asia (Argentina); and the National System of Researchers (Mexico).
