ROSAS RODRIGUEZ, ROSA BEATRIZ

Beatriz Rosas-Rodríguez holds a PhD in Economic and Administrative Sciences. She is full professor of Economics at the Facultad de Contaduría y Administration, Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, where she also serves as Coordinator of the Bachelor’s Program in Business Economics (Licenciatura en Economía Empresarial).
Her research focuses on the empirical analysis of corporate and business decision-making and its relationship with social, environmental, and governance factors. Her work examines topics such as corporate governance, gender diversity in boards, ESG performance, environmental strategies and firm outcomes in emerging economies, with a particular emphasis on Latin American firms. Methodologically, her research relies on quantitative and econometric approaches.
In addition to her research activities, Beatriz is actively involved in graduate and undergraduate teaching in economics and business. She teaches courses in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Statistics, and Business Strategy, and supervises graduate research projects. She is also member of Mexico’s National System of Researchers (Sistema Nacional de Investigadoras e Investigadores, SNII)
