RODRIGUEZ ACEVES, LUCIA ALEJANDRA

I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Economics and Business Science at Universidad Panamericana in Mexico and a Fellow at the Center for Young and Family Enterprise (CYFE) at the University of Bergamo, Italy. Previously, I served for eight years as an Assistant Professor in the Entrepreneurship Department at the Business School of Tecnológico de Monterrey.

I have had research visitings at the University of Manchester in England and Simon Fraser University in Canada. I have also been a visiting lecturer at the University of San Diego in the United States, and I am currently a visiting professor at the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico, where I mentor graduate students in their thesis development.

I collaborate with the research group of the Entrepreneurship Observatory at the Eugenio Garza Lagüera Institute of Entrepreneurship (IEEGL) at Tecnológico de Monterrey on various projects.

What keeps me awake and passionate about research is to discover and use a variety of research methods to understand how to foster high-impact entrepreneurship within university-based ecosystems. For example, studying roles and interactions of key actors in entrepreneurial universities; antecedents of the entrepreneurial mindset; the value of networking events; entrepreneurship education and other related topics such as entrepreneurial family businesses. To explore these phenomena, I employ a variety of methods, including regression analysis, structural equation modeling, social network analysis, and Fs/CsQCA.

My work has been published in articles, book chapters, and reports focusing on entrepreneurship, family businesses, and knowledge management.
