Isabel Izquierdo is a researcher at the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos , Mexico. She held research-stays at the University of British Columbia, Canada, the Institute of Latin America in Russia, and the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Her publications are on themes related to education, science and migration, work and academic identity, scientific collaboration networks, interactions in education and science between the Former USSR and Latin-America. Her current work explores scientific collaboration networks between Ex-soviet scientists in Brazil, and also conducting research on exile and immigration of Latin-American women scientists in Mexico.
