Though my undergraduate field was International Relations, my graduate studies were in Economics. As an economist, I would like to make a contribution that helps common people, specifically people living at the Bottom of the Pyramid or low-income individuals. That is my motivation to do research on economic growth and development. My interest covers international economic relations, economic policy, political economy and international business. My focus and experience are related to the Asia Pacific region, specifically China, the U.S. and Mexico. I think that human capital and social infrastructure are very important to promote growth.
