GUTIERREZ CRUZ, FRANCISCO SALVADOR

Francisco made a postdoctoral stay at the Graduate Unit of the Faculty of Economics of the UNAM in collaboration with Ph.D. Juan Carlos Moreno Brid. He belongs to the National System of Researchers level “1”. He has a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the School of Government of the Institute of Technology and Higher Studies of Monterrey (ITESM). He has a Master's Degree in Government and Public Affairs from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO-Mexico). He has a Diploma in Econometrics and a Bachelor's degree in Economics, both from the UNAM Faculty of Economics.

He currently teaches Tax Practice Workshop, Public Finance and Public Budget courses at the UNAM Faculty of Economics.

He has more than 14 years of experience in the public and government sector, where he has worked since 2004.

He was a professor in the economics and sustainable development degree at the “Rosario Castellanos” Institute of Higher Studies. He carried out professional internships at the Center for Public Finance Studies of the Chamber of Deputies.

He has published articles in specialized magazines such as Economía Informa, Economía UNAM, Problemas del Desarrollo (Latin American Journal of Economics), El Trimestre Económico, Economic Analysis, among others.

He has reviewed research articles in journals such as “Institutional Economics” from the Externado University of Colombia, “Development Studies” from the Autonomous University of Zacatecas, “Economy: Theory and Practice” from the Autonomous Metropolitan University (UAM) and “Cuadernos de Economy” from the National University of Colombia.

His research lines are: Economic Policy, Public Economics, Econometrics (time series models and panel data), Public Finance, Public Policies.
