Degree in Political Science, he got an MA in Political Studies and a PhD in Political Science from the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). He also has a degree in Philosophy from the Faculty of Philosophy and Literature of the same University. Since 2004 he has been a degree professor in Political Science at UNAM. Now he is a full time professor in the same institution. He is part of the National System of Researchers Level II. In 2017 he got the Distinction for Young Academics at UNAM. He has collaborated in mechanisms of political participation and he has done consultory for private, public and international institutions. He has written articles in specialized journals and books with prestigious publishers. He has also issued lectures at several national and international congresses, and he has coordinated and participated in multiple research academia projects.
His lines of research include Democracy, Civil Society Organizations, Citizen Participation, Philosophy, Political Theory and Technopolitics.
