Rolando Espinosa holds a degree in Economics and a Ph.D. in Geography from National Autonomous University of Mexico. His research and publications delve into the critical problems of contemporary capitalism, including social conflicts and the risks associated with new technologies, the social production of space and capital accumulation, the right to the city, and the world market along with the political economy of strategic resources. Currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Autonomous University of Mexico City, affiliated with the project “The Centrality of the Communal in the Production of Space: The Significance of Lefebvrean Critical Theory for Health Promotion” (EPM–Secihti).
