He has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering (UABC), and also has postgraduate studies in Advanced Systems Programming Specialist (CETYS University), Mexico - US Border Issues Studies Specialist (COLEF), Master's in Business Administration (UABC), Master's in Systemic Psychology (CIDH University), PhD in Management Sciences (UABC), and PhD in Education (Universidad Iberoamericana).
Currently, he is the Vice President of Technical Activities of the Technology and Engineering Management Society (TEMS) from the IEEE (2025-2026).
Member of the National System of Researchers in Mexico, Level 2. He conducted several research visits in Mexico, Canada, the United States, Spain, France, England, Colombia, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Panamá, and Perú. Author of several books, articles, and book chapters. He has participated in several international academic events.
His research areas are knowledge and engineering management, competitiveness, happiness management, social & open innovation, and complex systems. In addition, he is an organizational consultant and a social venture developer.
