Ana Carolina Reyes Rodríguez, PhD, is a researcher in the fields of Education and Educational Psychology. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Educational Sciences and a Master's degree in Education from the Technological Institute of Sonora (ITSON), and a PhD in Regional Development with a specialization in Human Development and Social Vulnerability from the Center for Research in Food and Development (CIAD), Mexico.

She is a member of the Mexican National System of Researchers (SNII, Level 1), the Mexican Council for Educational Research (COMIE), and the Mexican Academy of Sciences. She is currently conducting postdoctoral research at the Autonomous University of Sinaloa (UAS).

Since 2013, her research has focused on school violence and bullying. In recent years, she has developed a specialized research agenda examining bullying and discrimination toward LGBT students from gender and intersectional perspectives. Her work explores the psychosocial mechanisms that contribute to prejudice and exclusion in educational settings, including conformity to masculine norms, heteronormativity, attitudes toward sexual diversity, and restorative approaches to school coexistence.

Dr. Reyes Rodríguez has participated in research projects funded by the National Council of Humanities, Sciences and Technologies (CONAHCYT) and the Program for Professional Teacher Development (PRODEP). Her research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of Community Psychology, Psychosocial Intervention, SAGE Open, and International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health.

In addition to her research activities, she has extensive experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in research methods, educational measurement, and educational evaluation. She has supervised and served on master's and doctoral thesis committees in programs affiliated with Mexico's National Postgraduate System.

She also contributes to the scientific community as a reviewer for international journals, including Frontiers in Psychology, BMC Psychology, and the International Journal of Bullying Prevention. Her work seeks to generate evidence that supports the development of more inclusive, equitable, and discrimination-free educational environments.
