Elizabeth M. Hernández López is a Research Lecturer in the Modern Languages Department at the University of Guadalajara in Mexico. She undertook a PhD at the University of Southampton in the UK, on the adaptation experience of international students of Latin American origin to life in the UK. Dr. Hernández López earned her Master of Arts in Intercultural Communication from the University of Maryland in the United States and her B.A. in Teaching English as a Foreign Language at the University of Guadalajara in Mexico. Her research interests include intercultural communication and mediation, the internationalisation of Higher Education, and English teachers training and development.
