ZEGBE DOMINGUEZ, JORGE ARTEMIO

JORGE A. ZEGBE. Born in Zacatecas in Zacatecas México (Mexican-Lebanese) He is BSc in Horticulture (Universidad Autónoma Agraria Antonio Narro, México, 1985) and MSc in Pomolgy (Colegio de Postgarduados, México, 1991). He received a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology from Massey University, New Zealand (2000-2003) and post-doctoral training in Postharvest physiology at the University of California, Davis CA (2009-2010). His research activity has been developed within the Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Forestales, Agrícolas y Pecuarias (INIFAP) in Mexico in fruit and vegetable crops since 1984. His research activities are plant and postharvest physiology, irrigation, nutrition, sensory, and food quality. He has been teaching statistics to undergraduate and postgraduate programs. He's membership of the International Society for Horticultural Science and Sociedad Mexicana de Fitogenética. I was awarded National Researcher level I and II by the Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (México). So far, I have published more than 100 papers in referred journals and 95 national and international conference papers
