Dr. Joel Ventura Rios was born in Oaxaca, Mexico. In 2003, he obtained B.Sc. in Department of Animal Husbandry from the Autonomous University Chapingo, Mex. In 2006 he obtained a M.Sc. degree in the area of Animal Nutrition from the Autonomous University of Chihuahua, Mex., Since 2006, Dr. Ventura has been dedicated to studying forage production, crop ecophysiology, and chemical composition of the gramineas basically. Joel, obtained the Ph. D. degree at the Postgraduate College in Mexico in 2016 in the area of forage production and the thesis was aimed at studying the production of second generation bioethanol.
